October, 2009, it was brought to BBB’s attention via a news article that the Idaho Attorney General’s Office filed a lawsuit against Nicholas Rook, asking that he pay a fine over four complaints about his business, Top Guns Development Camps, a training academy for aspiring baseball players.

This organization is well-known to BBB as one that does not respond to consumer complaints. Complaints about this baseball scouting service mostly concern refund issues. Some complaints allege that the camps are cancelled if they don't meet the "minimal player registration" necessary to operate the events. Complaints also reflect that consumers are told their children can attend other camps at other times rather than getting a refund.

The company states in its contract that there is a 90-day policy on cancellations.

Complaints also allege that they are unable to contact the company by phone, and that email responses from the company are vague and do not help resolve the issues.

Mid-June, 2009, BBB contacted the company to discuss their activities. No one from the company returned the call.

If you have an unresolved issue concerning this company we urge you to file a formal complaint with the Idaho Attorney General's Office.
