Since Michael Jackson's death, there have been a series of potentially harmful e-mails circulating. At first, there were emails circulating that contained the subject "Photos of Michael Jackson's Dead Body," where following the link or opening the attachment exposed you to illicit photos, etc.
Of particular concern now are any e-mails from known or unknown sources that contain the subject "Remembering Michael Jackson," with the attachment "Michael songs and pictures.zip".
This attachment contains a harmful executable program.
Remind your staff to keep their workplace and personal devices safe by taking the following precautions:
*Do not respond to or click links within e-mails from unknown sources
*Do not click on links within pop-ups or dialog boxes that attempt to convince you to visit unfamiliar or suspicious sites
*Ensure your anti-virus definitions/signatures at home are updated daily
*Do not visit any site you deem to be questionable or a potential security risk
*Ensure all available Windows updates are installed on your home PC
